ACPEN Product Line Logos
The Accounting Continuing Professional Education Network (ACPEN) provides Continuing Professional Education for CPAs, via distance learning. For a number of years, this consisted entirely of eight to nine annual courses. Those courses (later re-branded as the ACPEN Signature courses) were very unique in their presentation, and had been well established as the only offerings ACPEN provided.
So, when ACPEN expanded it’s offerings to courses designed for accounts in industry, they needed to brand these new courses as different than their flagship courses. Thus, in June 2010, the ACPEN Industry Institute was born!
The logo I developed for this new product line is below. The idea was to make the new logo distinct, yet reminiscent of the ACPEN network logo. The wording below the logo was requested by client.
After the success of the ACPEN Industry Institute, two new product lines followed. The ACPEN Tax Institute was created in 2013, and ACPEN Financial Planning Institute followed in 2015. These new logos were created with the intent of looking consistent with the industry logo, while remaining distinct to each of the new product lines, giving ACPEN a total of three Specialized Areas of study.
